Leave Malaga airport and when you see the main Malaga - Cadiz road (N340) turn right and follow the signs to Marbella, Algeciras & Cadiz.

As you approach San Pedro de Alcantara you will come to a turn on the right to Ronda. Come off the road here, cross the road you have just come off and proceed back in the direction of Marbella (you are essentially doing a U turn).

After a couple of hundred yards or so you will come to the Hotel Cortijo Blanco. Enter here and take the road going to the beach (playa) to the left of the hotel.

Take the second turn to the left (Calle Pedro Romero) and Casa Amatista is the last house on the right (excluding the one at the end of the cul de sac) - there are only three houses on the right hand side of the street.
